Blyth Spartans Juniors
A warm welcome to Blyth Spartans Juniors. The club is based in the port town of Blyth in the county of Northumberland, and is just a short walk from Croft Park, where the senior team is based.
There are currently over 450 young people registered with the club and they are either playing for our teams in the Northumberland Football League or taking part on one of our weekly football development sessions.
All coaches at Blyth Spartans Juniors are qualified to the required FA standards and have up to date DBS checks in place to ensure the club is compliant to the required standards.
Matches and training sessions take place at Wensleydale Park in Blyth where we have both grass and 3G pitches, as well as changing facilities and a kitchen which provides a warm welcome to our home and serves a selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks on most match days.

The club has 31 teams across 10 different age groups, with both boys and girls teams representing the famous green and white stripes.
The club also offer Little Spartans, training sessions for 4-6 year olds as a perfect introduction to football and also have development training for 7+ for those not ready or wanting to step up to team environment, but still wanting to improve their football skills.
We also run weekly Girls Only Wildcatz sessions introducing girls to football and building skills and confidence for those who want to start their footballing journey or build on their existing football skills.

Blyth Spartans teams play in the Northumberland Junior Football League, playing on both Saturdays and Sundays in the Northumberland Football League. Our training facilities are based at Wensleydale Park, which has a state of the art 3G pitch. We can be found at Dune Walk in Blyth.
Club Ethos
Blyth Spartans Juniors believe that football should be accessible to all who want to participate, regardless of their background. The club aims to provide a safe and fun environment for children of all ages to take part in regular physical activity which benefits not only their physical well-being, but their mental health as well.
